To provide a bumper post that can soften an impact when a pedestrian or a vehicle collides therewith, and that can suitably absorb the impact and prevent the vehicle from passing over even when the vehicle impacts at a considerable speed with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A bumper post 1 comprises: a support body 2; a cover material 3 that covers at least a part of the upper end side of the support body 2; and a core material arranged in the support body 2. The support body 2 has a substantially circular cylinder shape. The core material has a square cylinder shape, and a reinforcing member arranged on the flat part of the outer peripheral surface of the square cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡易な構成により、歩行者や車両が衝突した際の衝撃を和らげ、かつ車輌がかなりの速度で衝突した場合であっても好適に衝撃を吸収するとともに車輌の乗り越えを防止することのできる車止めを提供する。【解決手段】支柱本体２と、支柱本体２の上端側の少なくとも一部を覆うカバー材３と、支柱本体２内に配される芯材とを備えた車止め１であって、支柱本体２は略円筒形状となされ、芯材は角筒形状となされるとともに、角筒の外周面の平坦部には補強部材が配されているようにした。【選択図】図１
