MODIFICATION METHOD FOR BORON-CONTAINING SLAG AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING-CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL WITH USE THEREOF, AND MODIFIED SLAG
To provide a method which can easily and economically suppress elution of boron from a boron-containing substance.SOLUTION: A modification method for boron-containing slag includes the steps: at which by equilibrium calculation based on a composition of slag before modification, a boron concentration C1 calculated before modification, which is a boron concentration in a liquid phase at a prescribed temperature T at which the slag is in a solid-liquid coexistent state, is calculated; at which a modifier, that contains SiO2 of 30% by mass or more and is dissolved in the liquid phase of the slag at the prescribed temperature T, is added to the slag before modification of which the boron concentration C1 calculated before modification exceeds a prescribed threshold C and in the state that the same is the prescribed temperature T or more, and is modified, and a modified slag, in which a boron concentration C2 calculated after modification in the liquid phase at the prescribed temperature T and in the solid-liquid coexistent state that is calculated by equilibrium calculation based on the composition becomes the prescribed threshold C or less, is prepared; and at which the modified slag is flown into a thin layer, and is cooled until a cooling velocity at a central part in a thickness direction of the thin layer becomes 10°C/min or more from the prescribed temperature T to 1000°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】ホウ素含有物質からのホウ素の溶出を、簡便かつ経済的に抑制できる方法を提供する。【解決手段】改質前スラグの組成に基づく平衡計算により、該スラグが固液共存状態にある所定温度Tでの液相中のホウ素濃度である改質前計算ホウ素濃度C1を算出すること、前記改質前計算ホウ素濃度C1が所定の閾値Cを超える改質前スラグに対し、前記所定温度T以上にある状態で、SiO2を30質量%以上含有し、前記所定温度Tにて前記スラグの液相に溶解する改質材を添加してこれを改質し、組成に基づく平衡計算により算出される、固液共存状態にある所定温度Tでの液相中の改質後計算ホウ素濃度C2が前記所定の閾値C以下となる改質スラグを調製すること、及び前記改質スラグを薄層状に流し込み、該薄層の厚み方向中央部における冷却速度が、前記所定温度Tから1000℃まで、10℃/min以上となるように冷却することを含む、ホウ素含有スラグの改質方法を採用する。【選択図】 なし
