To automatically control a pitch angle of a blade in accordance with a work state of a work vehicle.SOLUTION: A control system for a work vehicle, which comprises a vehicle body and a work machine capable of changing a height and a pitch with respect to the vehicle body, has a controller. The controller: determines a switch point with reference to target displacement data showing target displacement in the height of the work machine in accordance with a travel distance of the work vehicle from a work start position; determines whether or not the work vehicle reaches the switch point on the basis of the travel distance of the work vehicle from the work start position; and outputs a command to change a pitch of the work machine when the work vehicle is determined to reach the switching point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
