To effectively reduce ground strength while preventing damage of a nozzle in installing a steel sheet pile with a water jet method as an auxiliary construction method.SOLUTION: A steel sheet pile comprises: a long steel sheet pile body including a first plate-like portion; and a nozzle which is disposed on a plate surface of the first plate-like portion separated from a tip of the steel sheet pile body at one end in a longer direction of the steel sheet pile body, and is sloped with respect to the longer direction and is constituted to shoot water jet in a direction going away from the plate surface of the first plate-like portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
