To provide a connecting member for width adjustment that facilitates even further the adjustment of a width dimension of a frame body such as a gate door or a fence that uses an angle steel, and enables the adjustment width of the width dimension to be widened in addition to being reduced.SOLUTION: A connecting member is for connecting a pair of angle steels having a prescribed length, and includes a holding section for holding a side of the angle steel in a vertical direction, and a reinforcing section extending along the other side of the angle steel from an end of the holding section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
