To provide a connecting member and a lid for an underground structure capable of suppressing damage to a cable when opening and closing a lid main body of the lid for an underground structure with the cable, and a connecting method using the same.SOLUTION: A connecting member 1 that connects a lid main body to a receiving frame that supports the lid main body so that it can be opened and closed comprises a connecting member main body 2 extending in the first direction, and a cable passage portion 8 provided in the connecting member main body 2 along which a cable for transmitting a signal between a first device installed inside an underground structure and a second device installed in a lid main body. The cable passage portion 8 is a passage extending along the first direction, and includes a passage 6 to which the cable is attached so as to interlock with the connecting member main body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
