To provide a damping material that has excellent damping properties and has excellent followability to an irregular or curved surface.SOLUTION: A damping material has a resin layer (1), and a constraint layer (2) laminated on the resin layer (1). The resin layer (1) is composed of foam of an olefin polymer (A). The foam has at least one peak of loss tangent tanδ by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement in a temperature range of 0°C or higher and 40°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
