To provide a weed-proof member easily secured to a boundary between at least two areas on a paved road to exhibit high weather resistance, and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A weed-proof member 10 installable on a boundary S1, S2, S3 between at least two areas on a paved road 1 comprises: a rubber elastic body 12 that can cover at least a part of the boundary S1, S2, S3; and an uncured rubber adhesive member 14 bondable to at least two areas over the boundary S1, S2, S3 so as to be stacked on at least a part of the rubber elastic body 12 and installed to cover the boundary S1, S2, S3 with the rubber elastic body 12. 【課題】舗装道路における少なくとも２つの領域の境界に容易に固着させ、耐候性に優れた防食部材およびその施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、舗装道路１における少なくとも２つの領域の境界Ｓ１，Ｓ２，Ｓ３に設置可能な防草部材１０であって、境界Ｓ１，Ｓ２，Ｓ３の少なくとも一部を被覆可能なゴム状弾性体１２と、ゴム状弾性体１２の少なくとも一部に積層され、ゴム状弾性体１２にて境界Ｓ１，Ｓ２，Ｓ３を覆うように設置するために、境界Ｓ１，Ｓ２，Ｓ３を跨いで少なくとも２つの領域に接着固定可能な未硬化状態のゴム状接着部材１４と、を備えることを特徴とする防草部材１０およびその施工方法に関する。【選択図】図３
