To provide an entrance/exit management system and an entrance/exit management method capable of stably and instantaneously executing authentication processing.SOLUTION: In an entrance/exit management system 50, a control terminal 2 of a building facility 1 comprises: a random number generation unit 5 that generates a random number capable of uniquely determine a two-dimensional code; a two-dimensional code output unit 6 that generates a two-dimensional code image in which the random number generated by the random number generation unit 5 is embedded as information and displays it on a screen of a two-dimensional code reader connected to the control terminal 2; and a two-dimensional code authentication unit 7 that determines whether or not the random number read from the two-dimensional code image for entrance/exit authentication displayed on a screen of a personal terminal 30 has been generated by the two-dimensional code reader. The personal terminal 30 comprises a two-dimensional code generation unit 34 that generates the two-dimensional code image for entrance/exit authentication in which the random number read from the two-dimensional code image displayed by the two-dimensional code reader is embedded as information, and displays it on the screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
