To increase the accuracy of safety confirmation inside a boarding/alighting unit of a mechanical parking equipment.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking system 100 includes a determination unit 62 having an unoccupied determination model for determining the presence or absence of people in an image, and outputting a result of determining the presence or absence of a person in the boarding/alighting section by inputting an image of the inside of the boarding/alighting unit 10 of a mechanical parking equipment 1 into the unoccupied determination model, and a control unit (entering/leaving control device 30) that closes a door 13 provided in the boarding/alighting unit when the determination unit outputs a determination result that the vehicle is unoccupied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
