To provide an adjusting member for a renovation fitting having a recessed cutting groove for easy cutting.SOLUTION: An adjusting member 7 for a renovation fitting is a plate-shaped adjusting member 7 for a renovation fitting, which has a plurality of recessed cutting grooves 71 and whose length can be adjusted by cutting any number of recessed cutting grooves 71. Each recessed cutting groove 71 is formed by being recessed in a U-shape in the thickness direction from the surface, both ends on the open side of the U-shape are arranged on the front side, the portion on the closed side of the U-shape is arranged on the back side, and in a cross-section when cut along the length direction, each recessed cutting groove has a pair of front-side curved sections 711 formed at both ends on the open side of the U-shape, a back-side curved section 713 formed on the closed side of the U-shape, and a pair of straight sections 712 which connect the pair of front-side curved sections 711 and the back-side curved section 713 and extend linearly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
