To provide a member with an H-shaped cross section reasonably constituting a cross section shape.SOLUTION: A steel member 25 with an H-shaped cross section comprises: a first flange 26; a second flange 27; and a web 28 connecting the first flange and the second flange with each other. A plurality of plate-like members disposed at an opposite side to the web with the first flange interposed between themself and the web and arranged in a material axis direction of the member with an H-shaped cross section are respectively attached to the first flange directly or via a connection member.
