To prevent a plurality of doors from being unlocked concurrently.SOLUTION: A cash handling device 100 includes: a bill unit 21 that handles a bill; a coin unit 26 that handles a coin; an enclosure (a bill device main body 1 and a coin device main body 12) that stores the bill unit and the coin unit in a drawable manner; a bill door 5 that seals the bill unit; a coin door 15 that seals the coin unit; and a lock mechanism LK that locks either one of or both the bill door and the coin door so as not to be openable. The lock mechanism unlocks one of the bill unit and the coin unit at the time of unlocking, and maintains lock of the other unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
