To provide a handrail that can be carried by oneself to a place where a physically handicapped person, a carereceiver, an elderly person with weak lower body, or his/her attendant or caregiver wants a handrail either on the right side or the left side, can be reliably installed at a visited place, and can be used with peace of mind.SOLUTION: Stairs, steps, etc. vary depending on a building or location visited, and a width, a depth (dimensions of treads), and a height (dimensions of risers) of the stairs and steps are not uniform. The handrail can be installed firmly and reliably anywhere (except for rare, special stairs, etc.), either on the right side or the left side. 【課題】身体障害者の方や要介護者の方、足腰が弱くなっている高齢者、その付添人や介護人の方が、右側でも左側でも、ここに手すりが欲しいと思う所に、自らで、持ち運べて、訪れた所で、確実に設置できて、安心して使える手すりが必要である。【解決手段】階段、段差等は、訪れた建物や、場所によって様々であり、その階段や段差は、幅、奥行（踏み面の寸法）、高さ（蹴上げの寸法）が一定ではない。訪れた、どんな所（稀な、特殊な階段等以外）でも、右側でも左側でも、しっかり確実に設置できる物。それを解決するためには、その訪れた所で、そこの現場に合わせて調整ができる、伸縮、アジャスト機能をもたせることで解決する。【選択図】図１
