To provide a fitting member and a fitting structure of a wall-mounted article having a high degree of freedom of a fitting position of the wall-mounted article and having an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: A fitting member 3 fits a folding type wall-mounted table 2 to a wall 1 of a building, and comprises a plate-like support panel 30 abutting onto a wall plate 11 of the wall 1, a decoration panel 31 attached to the support panel 30 so as to cover the surface, a first fastening member 32 penetrating the wall plate 11 and fastening the support panel 30 with a stud 10 at the back of the wall plate and a second fastening member 33 penetrating the decoration panel 31 and fastening the wall-mounted table 2 with the support panel 30 in a state where the wall-mounted table 2 is positioned at the decoration panel 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
