VIBRATION CONTROL STRUCTURE AND VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE
To provide a vibration control structure in which a vibration control device is fitted between the opposing vertical surfaces of two structural members erected in parallel and which constrains mutual displacement of the structural members in an outer surface direction to provide a large vibration control effect, and the vibration control device used for the vibration control structure.SOLUTION: A vibration control device 5 absorbs energy in response to mutual displacement of opposing surfaces when two structural members 1 and 2 tilt in its arraying direction. The vibration control device comprises: a first joining member 21 fixed to one of the opposing surfaces of the two structural members; a second joining member 22 fixed to the other of the opposing surfaces with a difference in vertical position from the first joining member; a vibration control member 25 connected at both ends to the first and second joining members; and outer surface arresting members 23 and 24 which are fixed to surfaces opposite to the surfaces to which the joining members are fixed and which constrain mutual displacement in a direction perpendicular to an axis of the vibration control member along the opposing surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】並列するように立設された2つの構造部材の互いに対向する鉛直面間に制震装置が装着され、構造部材間の面外方向の相対的な変位を拘束して大きな制震効果が得られる制震構造物及び制震構造物に使用する制震装置を提供する。【解決手段】制震装置5は、2つの構造部材1,2の配列された方向へ該構造部材が傾斜したときに対向する面の相対的な変位に対応してエネルギーを吸収する。制震装置は、2つの構造部材の互いに対向する面の一方に固定された第1の接合部材21と、対向する面の他方に、第1の接合部材と上下方向へ位置に差を設けて固定された第2の接合部材22と、第1及び第2の接合部材に両端が連結された制震部材25と、接合部材が固定された面と対向する面に固定され、対向する面に沿った方向で制震部材の軸線と直角となる方向への相対的変位を拘束する面外拘束部材23,24とを有するものとする。【選択図】図5
