VIBRATION SUPPRESSION BRACE AND STRUCTURE
To provide a vibration suppression brace including a displacement gauge which accurately measures an amount of expansion and contraction of an entire length of an axial force material, and to provide a structure.SOLUTION: A vibration suppression brace and a structure according to the invention include: an axial force material; a stiffener into which the axial force material is inserted; a first attachment member and a second attachment member joined to both axial ends of the axial force material; and a displacement gauge. The displacement gauge is installed between a slide side end, i.e., one end of the stiffener, and the second attachment member, measures relative displacement between the one end of the stiffener and the second attachment member. The first attachment member is joined to the stiffener through an end connection material. A fixed side end, i.e, the other end of the stiffener, is joined to the end connection material and fixed to the first attachment member through the end connection material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
