To improve shipping efficiency and delivery efficiency of a storage device, while improving utilization efficiency of the storage device.SOLUTION: A storage device 100 includes a control unit 120 and a storage unit 110. In the storage device 100, the control unit 120 is configured to lock the storage unit 110 by a delivery reservation for a delivery company to deliver a package into the storage unit 110, and release the lock when a package sender stores a package to be delivered in the storage unit 110, when the delivery company is coincident with a delivery company selected by the package sender, within a period from when the storage unit is locked to when the delivery company delivers a package into the storage unit 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
