To provide an erection support device 5 of an upper pillar 1 capable of supporting the erection of the upper pillar 1 by raising the upper pillar 1 above a lower pillar 2.SOLUTION: An erection support device 5 of an upper pillar 1 supports the erection of the upper pillar 1 that is transported in a state of being laid down so that the longitudinal direction is approximately horizontal. The erection support device includes: a lower pillar side base 12 attached to the upper end of lower pillar 2; an upper column side base 11 attached to the lower side of the lower end of the upper column 1 in a lying state; and a pivoting part that connects the lower pillar side base 12 and the upper pillar side base 11 in a pivotal manner with the horizontal direction as the rotation axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
