STEEL PIPE COLUMN JOINT STRUCTURE
To provide a steel pipe column joint structure which prevents decrease in strength.SOLUTION: A square steel pipe column joint structure comprises a first steel pipe column with a first through hole on the side surface, a second steel pipe column with a second through hole on the side surface, first and second doubling plates, a first reinforcing plate with a first opening part, and a second reinforcing plate with a second opening part. The first reinforcing plate is joined to the first steel pipe column such that the first opening part overlaps the first through hole, the second reinforcing plate is joined to the second steel pipe column such that the second opening part overlaps the second through hole, the first steel pipe column and the second steel pipe column are joined with bolts using the first doubling plate and the second doubling plate so that the first doubling plate is arranged adjacent to the first reinforcing plate and the second doubling plate is arranged adjacent to the second reinforcing plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
