To understand the displacement of a moving object moving on a rail in real time.SOLUTION: A slide displacement measuring device detects the displacement of a moving object moving along a rail with respect to the rail. The slide displacement measuring device includes: input units that are provided at least on the front side and rear side of the moving body in the traveling direction and receive an actual measurement value obtained by a lateral distance measuring instrument that measures a separation distance from the rail in a direction perpendicular to the traveling direction; an arithmetic processing unit that performs arithmetic processing based on information received by the input units; and an output unit that outputs information processed by the arithmetic processing unit. The arithmetic processing unit includes a horizontal displacement detection unit that calculates a horizontal displacement based on the actual measurement value received by the input units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
