To provide a woody floor material and a construction method thereof capable of preventing a rise or a step in a tongue-and-grooved joint part from being generated in the woody floor material even when the woody floor material is largely extended in a width direction in a highly wet environment.SOLUTION: A female tongue part 10 and a male tongue part 20 are formed in a woody floor material A. A female tongue recessed groove 15 is provided in the female tongue portion 10 by an upper projection 11 and a lower projection 18. A surface side corner of the upper projection 11 is chamfered to form an upward-inclined surface 12. A male tongue ridge 25 and a small projection part 21 are formed in the male tongue part 20. A downward-inclined surface 22 is formed on a lower surface of the small projection 21.
