To provide a turning work machine capable of avoiding damage to a harness distributed on a swivel.SOLUTION: A turning work machine includes the swivel, a work device provided on the front side of the swivel, a battery unit, an electric motor to be driven by electric power the battery unit outputs, a hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor to discharge working oil, an invertor for adjusting the electric power to be output to the electric motor, a power transmission harness connecting the invertor and the electric motor, an external cover covering the battery unit, the electric motor, the hydraulic pump, the invertor, and the harness, and a support frame erected on the swivel and supporting the external cover, the harness being fixed to the support frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
