To provide a rubber composition capable of producing a fender with excellent tear strength and gasoline resistance.SOLUTION: Rubber composition for fender contains a rubber component, carbon black, oil, a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization accelerator. The rubber component includes at least natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber. The content of the styrene-butadiene rubber in the rubber component is 50 mass% to 65 mass%. The content of the oil is 15 pts.mass to 22 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The content of sulfur in the sulfur-based vulcanizing agent is 1.0 pts.mass to 2.2 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
