To provide a weed-proofing method for a road capable of suppressing the generation of weeds in response to various road environments and improving road maintenance surfaces, traffic safety surfaces, landscape surfaces, and environmental surfaces.SOLUTION: A weed-proofing method has a step of forming an adhesive layer, a step of laminating a urethane resin layer on the adhesive layer, and a step of laminating a coating material layer on the urethane resin layer, and covers a construction range with a coating layer 13.
