PAVEMENT MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING PAVEMENT SURFACE
To provide a pavement material which eliminates the need for filling joints with sand or the like, can be easily constructed in a short time, and can suitably avoid the problem of noise in tightening a bedding sand layer, and a method for constructing a pavement surface.SOLUTION: In a pavement material 1 with a specific gravity of 1.15 or more, having a horizontal square upper surface part 2 and a lower surface part 3 and four vertical side parts 4a-4d, a large number of small groove parts are formed on the surfaces of the upper surface part 2 and the lower surface part 3, a protrusion part 5 extending in the horizontal direction is formed on two side parts 4a, 4c, and a groove part 6 extending in the horizontal direction is formed on the remaining two side parts 4b, 4d, the height dimension of the groove part 6 is set larger than the thickness dimension of the protrusion part 5, and the depth dimension of the groove part 6 is set larger than the protrusion dimension of the protrusion part 5 so that the protrusion part 5 and the groove part 6 are configured to engage in a non-contact state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】目地に砂等を充填する必要がなく、短時間で簡単に施工することができ、敷砂層を締め固める際の騒音の問題を好適に回避することができる舗装材、及び、舗装面の施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】水平な正方形の上面部2及び下面部3と、四つの垂直な側部4a~4dとを有する比重1.15以上の舗装材1であって、上面部2と下面部3の表面に多数の小溝が形成され、水平方向へ延在する突条部5が二つの側部4a,4cに形成されるとともに、水平方向へ延在する溝部6が残りの二つの側部4b,4dに形成され、溝部6の高さ寸法が、突条部5の厚さ寸法よりも大きく設定されるとともに、溝部6の深さ寸法が、突条部5の突出寸法よりも大きく設定され、突条部5と溝部6を非接触状態で係合させることができるように構成した。【選択図】図1
