To facilitate removal of a suction foundation.SOLUTION: A suction foundation 100 includes: a foundation body 10 having a ceiling wall 11 and a side peripheral wall 12 extending downward from the ceiling wall 11; a partition plate 13 which is positioned below the ceiling wall 11 inside the side peripheral wall 12; and a suspension rope 14 for supporting the partition plate 13 so that the inclination of the partition plate 13 is changeable.
