To provide a sound-proof chamber that can secure a comfortable air environment and safety.SOLUTION: A portable type sound-proof chamber 11 comprises an enclosure 12 forming a space where a user can enter, a door capable of opening and closing a doorway provided at a side wall of the enclosure, and an air conditioner sending out conditioned air to the space. A ceiling 12d of the enclosure has an automatic fire-extinguishing device 26 not requiring a power supply. The automatic fire-extinguishing device integrally comprises a heat sensing part to sense heat due to occurrence of fire, a fire-extinguishing agent vessel 27 where a longitudinal dimension is formed smaller than a horizontal dimension with a height direction of the ceiling as the longitudinal direction, and a discharge nozzle provided at a bottom edge of the fire-extinguishing agent vessel and capable of discharging a fire-extinguishing agent within the fire-extinguishing agent vessel by melting a low melting metal used with the heat sensing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
