AGGREGATE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
To provide an aggregate in which carbon dioxide in an atmosphere is sufficiently absorbed, and a method for producing the aggregate in which the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is sufficiently absorbed.SOLUTION: An aggregate of the present invention has: 1. a coating layer containing granulating agent and cement on a part or all of the surface, where the specific surface area is 2.0 cm2/g or more; or 2. a coating layer containing cement on a part or all thereof, where the specific surface area is 2.0 cm2/g or more, a specific surface area of a fraction passing through a sieve with a nominal aperture of 4.75 mm as specified in JIS Z 8801-1:2019 is 2.5 cm2/g or greater, and a specific surface area of a fraction remaining on the sieve is 0.5 cm2/g or greater. A method for producing the aggregate includes: a granulation step of mixing fresh concrete or fresh concrete sludge water with the granulating agent to obtain a granulated material; and a curing step of exposing the granulated material to an atmosphere containing carbon dioxide to cause the granulated material to absorb carbon dioxide to obtain the above aggregate, where a specific surface area of the granulated material is 2.0 cm2/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】大気中の二酸化炭素を十分に吸収した骨材、及び、大気中の二酸化炭素を十分に吸収した骨材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の骨材は、1.表面の一部又は全部に、造粒剤とセメントとを含む被覆層を有し、比表面積は2.0cm2/g以上であり、又は、2.表面の一部又は全部に、セメントを含む被覆層を有し、比表面積は2.0cm2/g以上であり、JIS Z 8801-1:2019に規定される公称目開き4.75mmのふるいを通過する画分の比表面積は2.5cm2/g以上、該ふるいにとどまる画分の比表面積は0.5cm2/g以上である。本発明の骨材の製造方法は、生コンクリート又は生コンクリートスラッジ水と造粒剤とを混合して、造粒物を得る造粒工程と、該造粒物を、二酸化炭素を含む雰囲気に曝露し、該造粒物に二酸化炭素を吸収させて、上記骨材を得る養生工程とを有し、該造粒物の比表面積は2.0cm2/g以上である。【選択図】なし
