PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine aggregate usable as the raw material for a cement hardened body even if a water absorption percentage is relatively high, and further, to provide a method for producing the fine aggregate.SOLUTION: Provided is a fine aggregate forming a cement hardened body by being kneaded with cement and water, in which a water absorption percentage is 2% or more, the ratio with a grain size of 0.15 mm or lower is 0 mass%, the ratio with a grain size above 0.15 to 0.6 mm is 40 mass% or lower, and the ratio with a grain size above 5 mm is 0 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
