To absorb and reduce a sound by providing a sound absorption member suitable to a light-permeable wall surface of glass etc.SOLUTION: A sound absorption member comprises a light-permeable outer shell, which has a plurality of perforations connecting the inside and outside of a cavity part encircled with the outer shell. The outer shell has a plate-like member 320 provided with an inner surface IS1 facing the inside of the outer shell and an outer surface OS1 facing the outside of the outer shell, wherein the inner surface IS1 of the plate-like member is in an uneven shape and the outer surface OS1 of the plate-like member is planar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
