To improve sound absorption performance of a sound absorption member using a breathable cavity via holes of a perforation plate.SOLUTION: A sound absorption member includes a perforation plate 301 having a plurality of through holes and a reinforcing plate 302 which has a face that is almost parallel to a face of the perforation plate 301 and whose position with respect to the perforation plate 301 is fixed. The sound absorption member has a cavity part which is positioned on a side opposite to the reinforcing plate 302 with respect to the face of the perforation plate 301 and is breathable between an inner part and an outer part of the cavity part via the plurality of through holes present in the perforation plate 301.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
