To provide a rainwater catch basin that does not cause concerns about overflow.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a rainwater catch basin including a basin body having side walls and a bottom wall, in which a downspout is connected to a siphon-type drainage member that is placed on a building and through which rainwater passes, rainwater from the downspout is poured into the basin body, and a buried rainwater pipe having an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of the downspout is connected to the side wall. Assuming that the volume from the lowest height position of the connection part of the buried rainwater pipe in the basin body to the height position of the rainwater inlet from the downspout inside the basin body is the actual volume of the basin body: V(L), and that the maximum flow rate of rainwater poured from the downspout through the siphon-type drainage member is Q1(L), the actual volume is defined so as to satisfy the relation V/Q1≥1.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
