To provide a notification control device, a notification control method, and a program capable of improving the accuracy of notification of a battery status.SOLUTION: A notification control device 36 is used in a product 4 remotely controlled by a user's terminal 3, and notifies a user of the battery state of a battery 16 that is the power source for a product 4. A setting unit 40 sets a determination threshold (remaining charge determination threshold) to a value corresponding to the current temperature, on the basis of temperature data from a temperature detection unit 38 that detects the temperature of the product 4, against which the output voltage of the battery 16, whose output changes with changes in the temperature of the surrounding environment even when the remaining charge is the same, is compared. A notification processing unit 42 notifies the user of the comparison result when the output voltage of the battery 16 is compared with the determination threshold as the current battery state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
