To accurately represent a set threshold value in a real space (e.g., danger area) on a captured image.SOLUTION: A monitoring device for monitoring a working state of a work machine includes: an object detection unit that detects three-dimensional position information on a target object that is a monitoring target using a captured image and distance information; a work content determination unit that determines whether or not work with the work machine is safe based on the three-dimensional position information on the target object acquired by the object detection unit; a two-dimensional conversion unit that calculates two-dimensional coordinates of a set threshold value in a real space in the captured image based on the three-dimensional position information on the target object acquired by the object detection unit; and a notification unit that superimposes the threshold value in the real space on the captured image according to the two-dimensional coordinates and performs notification about the result determined by the work content determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
