HYBRID COMPOSITE BEAM HAVING REINFORCING BOTTOM PLATE
Disclosed is a composite beam which resists against an external force as a U-shaped steel beam and concrete are integrally synthesized. According to an appropriate embodiment of the present invention, the composite beam comprises: a steel beam having a pair of upper members, a lower member, and a lower reinforcing plate; and concrete placed inside the steel beam and cured, and integrally synthesized with the steel beam. The pair of upper members includes: an upper plate; a side plate extending vertically downwards from one end of the upper plate; and a lower plate extending in an opposite direction in parallel with the upper plate from a lower end of the side plate, and spaced apart in parallel such that cross sections thereof are symmetrical to each other. The lower member includes: a lower horizontal plate; a vertical plate extending vertically upwards from each of both ends of the lower horizontal plate; and an upper horizontal plate extending inwards in parallel with the lower horizontal plate from an upper end of the vertical plate. The lower reinforcing plate has a through hole formed at predetermined intervals in a central portion in a widthwise direction; is installed between the pair of upper members and the lower member; and combines the pair of upper members and the lower member by being bolted to the lower plate of the upper members and the upper horizontal plate of the lower member at the same time.
