- Epoxy-asphalt primer compositions for road paving
The compatibility of an epoxy-asphalt preprocessing composition for road pavement is poor to cause phase separation between binders, resulting in problems such as occurrence of road surface contamination due to stickiness, poor strength, road surface breaks, cracks, poor hardness and poor durability. According to the present invention, as an acetate group of ethylene vinyl acetate used as a compatibilizing agent in an epoxy-asphalt preprocessing composition is substituted with an aromatic benzoate group, a molecular chain becomes longer and polarity lowers so the compatibility between epoxy-asphalt mixtures are improved. So, an epoxy-asphalt preprocessing composition for road pavement of the present invention shows various excellent improvement effects in terms of physical properties such as prevention of cracks, an increase in flexibility, an increase in strength and improvement on adhesion.
해결하려는 과제: 도로 포장용 에폭시-아스팔트 전처리제 조성물의 상용성이 좋지 않아 결합재 간에 상 분리를 일으켜 끈적거림에 의한 노면의 오염 발생, 강도 불량, 노면 꺼짐, 크랙 발생, 경화 불량, 내구성 불량 등의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 과제 해결수단: 본 발명에 따르면, 에폭시-아스팔트 전처리제 조성물 중 상용화제로 사용되던 에틸렌비닐아세테이트의 아세테이트기를 방향족의 벤조에이트기로 치환함에 따라 분자 사슬이 길어지고 극성이 낮아지면서 에폭시-아스팔트 혼합물 간의 상용성이 개선되어 크랙 방지, 유연성 증대, 강도 증가 및 접착력 향상 등 물성 면에서 여러 가지 우수한 개선효과를 보여 주었다.
