The impact energy absorbing device having a double shock-absorbing structure
The present invention relates to an impact energy absorbing device having a double shock-absorbing structure. The shock-absorbing device includes a wire portion installed in a shock-absorbing member for shock absorption during a vehicle collision, a splitter inserted into the wire portion, and a bent buffer member inserted into the wire portion, inserted into both end portions of the splitter, and bent with one end portion rolled during impact pressurization. The bent buffer member is provided with a radial first cut groove at one end such that multiple first bent pieces are formed to be rolled during pressurization, the bent buffer member has a cut line for separation of the first bent piece cut and rolled, the first bent piece is formed and rolled for shock buffering while the bent buffer member is pressurized and the first cut groove is cut as a result of an external impact, the bent piece rolled as a result of continuous pressurization is cut by the cut line, a second bent piece is formed, rolled, and further buffers the impact while a second cut groove is cut that is formed to cross the first cut groove. Accordingly, the external impact can be buffered double and buffering efficiency can be maximized.
본 발명은 이중 충격흡수구조를 갖는 충격에너지 흡수장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 차량이 충돌시 충격을 흡수하도록 충격흡수부재의 내부에 설치되는 와이어부와 상기 와이어부에 끼움되는 스플리터와 상기 와이어부에 끼움되며 상기 스플리터의 양단부에 끼움되어 충격에 의한 가압시 일단이 말리면서 절곡되는 절곡완충부재로 이루어진 충격흡수장치로서, 상기 절곡완충부재는 가압시 말리도록 다수의 제 1 절곡편이 형성되게 일단에 방사상으로 제 1 절취홈이 마련되고, 상기 절곡완충부재에는 절취되며 말려진 제 1 절곡편이 분리되도록 절취선이 형성되어, 외부의 충격에 의해 절곡완충부재가 가압되면서 제 1 절취홈이 절취되면서 제 1 절곡편이 형성됨과 아울러 말리면서 충격을 완충시키게 되고, 지속적인 가압에 의해 말려진 절곡편을 절취선에 의해 잘려나가고, 제 1 절취홈과 교차되게 형성된 제 2 절취홈이 절취되면서 제 2 절곡편이 형성됨과 아울러 말리면서 재차 충격을 완충시켜 이중으로 외부충격을 완충시킬 수 있어 완충효율을 극대화 시킬 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.
