An apparatus for preventing hands from being caught in windows and doors is configured to manufacture a main body in a hollow tube shape and mount the main body on a portion in contact with a sash for windows and doors and a frame for windows and doors to elastically deform the same, thereby being easily and quickly mounted on the newly constructed or already constructed windows and doors to be safely used. More specifically, the apparatus for preventing hands from being caught in windows and doors configures a separation plate to divide an inner space in the main body formed in the tube shape into two portions, thereby increasing an effect of preventing the hands from being caught in the windows and the doors by preventing fingers or the like from being further slid into the main body while the separation plate functions as a protrusion even when the main body is pressed by the fingers or the like when the windows and doors are opened. Also, the apparatus for preventing hands from being caught in windows and doors is configured to be manufactured in the tube shape installed in a portion where the frame for windows and doors and the sash for windows and doors come in contact with each other and come in contact in a wedge shape or the like therebeween, thereby being easily folded or unfolded through a wedge portion to increase the effect of preventing hands from being caught in the windows and doors when the windows and doors are opened and closed.
중공의 튜브 형태로 본체를 제작하고, 이 본체를 창호 짝과 창호 틀이 접하는 부분에 장착하여 탄성 변형할 수 있게 구성하므로, 신축하는 창호나 이미 시공한 창호에도 쉽고 신속하게 장착하여 안전하게 사용할 수 있다. 특히, 튜브 형태로 이루어진 본체 내부에 내부공간을 양분하도록 분리판을 구성하므로, 창호를 열었을 때 손가락 등이 본체를 누르더라도 이 분리판이 돌기 기능을 하여 손가락 등이 더는 본체 안으로 밀려들지 않게 하여 손 끼임 방지 효과를 더욱 높일 수 있다. 또한, 창호 틀과 창호 짝이 만나는 부분에 설치할 수 있는 튜브 형태로 제작하되, 그 사이에는 쐐기 형태 등으로 접힐 수 있게 구성하므로, 창호를 여닫을 때 이 쐐기 부분을 통해 쉽게 접히거나 펼쳐지게 하여 손 끼임 방지 효과를 높일 수 있다.
