Provided is a preparation method for a PMNT target material, comprising: obtaining an MNT precursor; mixing the MNT precursor with PbO, and treating same at a high temperature to obtain PMNT powder; carrying out ball milling, granulation, sieving, cold isostatic pressing, binder discharging, and hot-pressing sintering treatment on the PMNT powder to obtain a PMNT target material. By means of the provided preparation method, a PMNT target material having uniform microstructure, high density and high purity can be obtained, and particularly, a large-sized high-quality PMNT target material can be obtained, thereby improving the yield of PMNT thin film products and reducing costs.
