BUILDING STRUCTURE FOR A MULTI-STORY BUILDING
A structure for a multi-story building comprises a first passageway constructed internally within a building being configured with a mount for a ducted condenser unit (DCU) of a split type, unitary air conditioning system to achieve a desired level of condenser based heat dissipation and with a plurality of penetrations to accommodate a conduit through which refrigerant circulates between inside and outside units of the air conditioning system; and a second passageway constructed internally within the building for receiving air discharged from the DCU, the second passageway terminating at an opening of the building through which the discharged air is exhausted to the atmosphere. The passageways have walls that are essentially closed, with the exception of the wall that is formed with an opening through which the discharged air flows. One or both of the first and second passageways upwardly extends across at least two stories of the building.
Structure destinée à un bâtiment à plusieurs étages comprenant un premier passage construit à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment qui est configuré avec une monture pour une unité de condenseur à conduit (DCU) d'un type fendu, un système de conditionnement d'air unitaire pour atteindre un niveau désiré de dissipation de chaleur basée sur le condenseur et avec une pluralité de pénétrations ménagées pour recevoir un conduit dans lequel un fluide frigorigène circule entre des unités intérieure et extérieure du système de conditionnement d'air ; et un second passage construit à l'intérieur du bâtiment pour recevoir l'air rejeté de la DCU, le second passage se terminant au niveau d'une ouverture du bâtiment par laquelle l'air rejeté est évacué dans l'atmosphère. Les passages comportent des parois qui sont essentiellement fermées, à l'exception de la paroi qui est constituée d'une ouverture par laquelle s'écoule l'air rejeté. L'un ou l'autre des premier et second passages, ou les deux, s'étendent vers le haut sur au moins deux étages du bâtiment.
