The invention relates to a system for transporting a railway switch (12), comprising a transport car (10) having a longitudinal direction (100) and a loading gauge of a given width, measured perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction (100). The transport system also comprises at least one first removable or retractable side handling platform (24) capable, when the transport car (10) is at a stop, of being in a position for sideways use of a first side of the transport car (10), located outside the loading gauge of the transport car (10) and allowing a worker to access the railway switch (12).
Un système de transport d'un appareil de voie (12) comporte un wagon de transport (10) ayant une direction longitudinale (100) et un gabarit de circulation de largeur donnée mesurée perpendiculairement à la direction longitudinale (100). Le système de transport comporte en outre au moins une première plateforme latérale de manutention (24) amovible ou rétractable, apte, lorsque le wagon de transport (10) est à l'arrêt, à se trouver dans une position d'utilisation latéralement d'un premier côté du wagon de transport (10), à l'extérieur du gabarit de circulation du wagon de transport (10), et permettant à un ouvrier d'accéder à l'appareil de voie (12).
