A door opening and closing mechanism comprising a body 2 that has an opening side 3a and a door 4 that opens and closes the opening side 3a, wherein the door opening and closing mechanism comprises: a first self-closing mechanism unit that biases, in the closing direction, the door 4 within an interval T1 from a prescribed first self-opening and -closing start position P2 to a first self-closing end position P0 in which the door 4 is closed; and a second self-closing mechanism unit that biases, in the closing direction, the door 4 within an interval T2 from a second self-opening and -closing start position P4 closer to the door opened side than the first self-opening and -closing start position P2 to a second self-closing end position P1 closer to the door closed side than the first self-opening and -closing start position P2.
