Method for reprofiling rails (2) of railroads, consisting in machining a surface (5) of this rail that is intended to come into contact with the wheels of a railroad vehicle, this machining being done by means of laser beams (10) by moving, at a controlled speed axially with respect to the rail and at a given distance with respect to said rail surface that is to be machined, a given number of heads having laser beams extending transversely with respect to the rail in order to cover said surface that is to be machined; device for implementing this method and a rail vehicle equipped with at least one such reprofiling device.
Procédé de reprofilage de rails (2) de voies ferrées consistant à usiner une surface (5) de ce rail destinée à venir en contact avec les roues d'un véhicule ferroviaire, où on réalise cet usinage par rayons lasers (10) en déplaçant, à vitesse contrôlée axialement au rail et à distance déterminée par rapport à ladite surface à usiner du rail, un nombre défini de têtes à rayons lasers s'étendant transversalement au rail pour couvrir ladite surface à usiner; dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé et un véhicule ferroviaire équipé au moins d'un tel dispositif de reprofilage.
