Snake River (Adrian) Bridge Section, Succor Creek Highway (Parma Spur), Malheur County, Oregon
The project is advanced to replace a pin-connected steel truss bridge over the Snake River that is narrow, has low vertical clearance and a relatively slim margin of safety should structural damage occur to the bridge. It does not meet present standards for load capacity, and therefore limits to some degree, the farm-to-market haul. The impacts will be increased safety and mobility for road users, some pasture land occupation, damages and probable removal of three buildings.
