Proposed Dinasaur National Monument, Wilderness
The project proposes that 45,100 acres within Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado and Utah, be designated as wilderness in accordance with the Wilderness Act and added to the National Wilderness Preservation System. In addition it is proposed that 130,300 acres within the monument be designated as Potential Wilderness Addition to be added to the wilderness by the Secretary of the Interior at such time that the lands qualify. Environmental impacts are discussed.
