A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
This report summarizes the results of a detailed population and socioeconomic survey as well as the relevant facts and associated problems in portions of Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Kemper, Jones, Scott, Winston, and Noxubee Counties in Mississippi. It particularly relates to the housing accommodations of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians living in this area. The study indicates the number of new and/or rehabilitated housing units needed adequately to house these people over the next ten years; it reflects the number of publicly assisted housing units which will be required; and it contains a summary of the problems and obstacles preventing solution of the housing problems confronted by this minority group.
