Volume 4 of a five volume technical report includes three studies. The first on codes and standards, makes a preliminary survey of all codes, rules, and regulations, and statutes in effect in Florida which control the housing environment. The key areas are building and housing codes. The second, entitled 'Local Government Regulations and Actions Related to the Development of Minimal Standard Housing for Citizens', seeks to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses of Florida local governments in meeting the housing needs of their citizens. The third report, entitled 'Housing Consequences Arising From Evolving Technological Trends,' presents an overview of innovations in the construction process and the potential psycho-social implications.
