The proposed action provides a project for major improvements at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library, Dickinson County, Abilene, Kansas, to accommodate the increasing number of visitors. Included are the acquisition of land; construction of additional parking facilities; the construction of a Visitors' Center; and the completion of the landscaping. The Visitors' Center will have a gross area of approximately 12,000 square feet. Acquisition of additional land will provide for about 260 parking spaces. Environmental impacts and adverse environmental effects are discussed.
