Design Section D001: Huntington Route. Subsurface Investigation, Conard Building
Results of four supplementary borings performed near the Conard Building at the corner of 13th and Eye Streets N.W. in Section D001 of Huntington Route are summarized in the report. The purpose of the work was to evaluate subsoil conditions at a location where two single-track tunnels curve between Eye Street and 12th Street N.W., passing directly beneath the Conard Building. The report contains revised geological sections, logs of the borings, engineering laboratory test results and conclusions regarding subsoil properties. (Author)
